OK, it's Saturday, hopefully things are a bit more relaxed and you've had some time to think about what you accomplished this week?
What was it?
This is not the time to be modest.
Anything, big or small. I'm fairly certain there's at least one thing you did that changed someone's life for the better.
Did you let that aggressive driver merge into your lane?
Fed the squirrels in your backyard?
Answer someone's mind-boggling question for them? 👋
Did you help your kids with their homework?
How about calling your relatives after months of phone silence?
The point is this. We all go about our days sharing our own life experiences with others in a way that adds value. You may not see the payoff immediately, or even ever sometimes.
But there is something special about giving back and teaching that really fills me up.
I experience it with my clients and students, as well as with the one-off folks that comment on my posts.
All that to say that I'm always looking for ways to help that don't involve a huge investment, as I understand that not everyone is ready to make a paycheck investment in learning a new skill just yet.
