i spent the weekend in northern minnesota (chisolm).
my partners’ parents were born and raised up there and every 5 years the town throws a reunion party for all the graduating classes. fun fact, bob dylan was born in hibbing, the next town over.
it was a unique experience. i was reflecting back on how something like that is only possible in a small town, with one high school.
it was wonderful to see her parents walking down the street and constantly be stopped and recognized by an old classmate, some going as far back as 50 years!
wild.
it’s a fairly homogeneous crowd, as you might imagine.
i think in the past i would have had a preconceived notion about what folks like that are all about and i’m sure i would have been very mistaken.
we’re all beautiful, in our own way, all going through our own shit, trying to figure life out.
that was one of my many takeaways.
turns out one of the old residents made it big and returns every year to throw one of the best choregraphed fireworks shows i’ve ever seen and, having grown up in nyc, that’s saying a lot.
i’m contemplating starting a new weekly newsletter where I recap my favorite podcasts covering the topic of ascension and planetary awakening. if that happens, this list will be the first to know!
this energy feels like i’m building a 🕳🐇 that leads to yet another 🕳🐇, which is kinda fun. it’s like that goonies movie, where they keep discovering all these magical caverns + treasures.
that’s my 80’s child smiling.
